"Pam is an enormously talented executive, and we are delighted that she will be part of our Cardinal Health team. She brings a wealth of experience on a global basis and across all human resource functions. Her track record of cultivating teams and developing talent is particularly valuable to support our strategies," said Barrett.

"Pam will join an outstanding team of human resource professionals who have been led by Carole Watkins, who is retiring following a 30-year career in Human Resources, including 20 years with Cardinal Health. Carole has been a trusted partner to me and our team, and we wish her great joy as she begins her retirement," Barrett continued.

For more than 25 years, Pam has built outstanding Human Resources (HR) teams and programs. During her tenure at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Pam served as a key management advisor to the board of directors and led a team responsible for all aspects of HR around the world. She is also a member of the Personnel Roundtable. In March 2016, Pam was appointed to the board of directors for Manulife, the international financial services group.

Pam is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University and also serves on the Friends of Winship Advisory Board of the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University.
