Cardinal Health Medical Segment Announces Supplier Quality and Partnership Awards

Company Celebrates Suppliers Serving as Exemplary Partners in Commitment to Customers and Patients

DUBLIN, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2011 — The Cardinal Health Medical Segment announced winners of its supplier quality and partnership awards, celebrating suppliers serving as exemplary partners in the company’s commitment to customers and patients. The winners listed below were among the 23 suppliers being honored with awards across three categories.

The Cardinal Health Medical Segment awarded its Supplier Quality Award to B. Braun, ranking B. Braun among the best in areas including supply chain execution, responsiveness, and collaboration.

The Cardinal Health Medical Segment also named Covidien its Global Sourcing Partner of the Year. The award recognizes suppliers that provide superior support and interaction, distinguished by their achievements in operational improvements, EDI transactions and cost savings, among other categories.

In its Category Partner of the Year Award, the Cardinal Health Medical Segment named Aspen Surgical Products, Inc. its winner. The award recognizes extraordinary performance in the areas of customer focus, growth, operational excellence and industry. The company recognized Aspen Surgical Products for its work with Cardinal Health’s Presource® products and services.

Also in the partnership awards category, the Cardinal Health Medical Segment named Welch Allyn its Category Achievement Award winner for the company’s collaboration with the Cardinal Health Critical Care team.
