American Heart Association (AHA) Fit Friendly Award – AHA Start! Fit Friendly companies are recognized for their effort to promote a wellness culture in the workplace. As a Platinum Award winner, Cardinal Health is also being recognized for its efforts to offer employees physical activity options in the workplace and increase healthy eating options at the worksite.

Best HR Ideas for 2011 – Human Resource Executive Magazine publishes an annual listing of winning ideas recognizing HR programs that improve HR function and service delivery in unique ways. The Cardinal Health "Yoga at Your Desk" program and its annual Baby Expo were listed among the "Best HR Ideas for 2011." With the "Yoga at Your Desk" program, the company issued display cubes with illustrations and descriptions of five different stretching exercises that can be done while sitting. Its Baby Expo provided employees, spouses and partners interested in becoming parents with a single place to learn about issues such as the medical and leave implications of becoming new parents and various support tools available to them.
