Under the terms of the agreement, which went into effect Feb. 1, Cardinal Health will supply medical and surgical products to 10 hospitals and institutes within the Detroit Medical Center health system. As part of the agreement, Cardinal Health has agreed to work with DMC to plan a medical products distribution facility within the city of Detroit by the end of 2011.

“Detroit Medical Center has always been invested in bringing quality and cost-effective care to the communities we serve, but we’re also dedicated to creating a more vibrant Detroit,” said Donald P.
