Cardinal Health Introduces New Presource® Medication Labels

McGaw PARK, Ill., March 16, 2006 – Cardinal Health (NYSE:CAH), the leading provider of products and services supporting the health care industry, announced today the introduction of Presource® Standard Medication Label Sheets, designed to help health-care providers comply with Requirement 3D of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) 2006 National Patient Goals that took effect January 1, 2006.

 

To help meet the varying needs of its customers, Cardinal Health’s Presource® team developed a wide range of waterproof label sheets for the Operating Room, Labor and Delivery, the Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs. The label sheets can be placed in custom procedure packs or purchased as single sterile items.  They are available with and without a location for date and initials to meet each hospital’s individual implementation plans.
