DUBLIN, Ohio, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cardinal Health, the leading provider of products and services supporting the health-care industry, today announced that Vicki Perryman has joined the company as senior vice president of Customer Service.
In this new role, Perryman will lead Cardinal Health's efforts to deliver industry-leading service to its health care customers by implementing best practices and establishing greater consistency across the company's service operations. Perryman will lead two national centers that will provide service to nearly 40,000 hospital, surgery center, doctor's office and pharmacy customers in the United States.
Most recently, she was a senior vice president with Wachovia Corp., one of the nation's largest financial institutions. During her tenure there, Perryman helped reshape customer service operations, which led to Wachovia's No. 1 ranking in customer satisfaction and loyalty for the past four consecutive years.

Perryman received her bachelor of science degree in accounting from Michigan State University and her master's degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University. She joined the company on Nov. 7.
