The healthcare landscape is rapidly evolving, and Cardinal Health remains committed to supply chain excellence and high-impact solutions for our customers and their patients. We are growing our Pharmaceutical Distribution business and helping our customers unlock their highest levels of performance to improve patient health outcomes.
 

Our independent pharmacy customer base continues to grow. This is a credit to the strategic insights our experienced teams provide to help customers grow their revenue and provide clinical services, including vaccination and point of care services, to meet the needs of their patients and communities.
 

We are driven to help our independent pharmacy customers remain competitive with innovative solutions that offer personalized and convenient on-demand services. We are partnering in a pilot with our customers, including Gloyer’s Pharmacy, Northern Light Pharmacy, King Pharmacy and Dave’s Pharmacy, to test a new ordering workflow for our NavixRx Compliance Packaging solution that will allow pharmacies to utilize the solution through any pharmacy management system.
 

In addition, we continue to invest in Outcomes, our digital ecosystem, to expand clinical patient engagement in both independent pharmacies and retail chains, including solutions for medical billing, point of care testing, and other clinical capabilities.  
 

And finally, our Acute Distribution and Services team is collaborating with health systems to customize solutions that manage the cost and complexity of specialty and emerging medications. Through our offering of analytics, support of biosimilar adoption, Specialty GPOs for outpatient care settings, new reimbursement solutions, support for accredited specialty pharmacies and more, we are helping health systems achieve their strategic priorities.
 

As the holiday season approaches, I am grateful for our customers and their continued trust in Cardinal Health and the committed team that makes it all happen.
 

Debbie Weitzman is president of Pharmaceutical Distribution and The Medicine Shoppe International, Inc., at Cardinal Health. She is responsible for distribution to thousands of pharmacies across the care continuum, from retail and hospital pharmacies to long-term care and community health center pharmacies.
